Super Bowl LII Prop Bets

Super Bowl LII is this Sunday with the Philadelphia Eagles taking on the New England Patriots.  The simplest bet is to pick the winner and the point spread.

But according to boston.com, there are nearly 1,000 different prop bets available.  Here are just a few.

The National Anthem singer will be Pink.  Every year there is a prop wager on how long  the song will take.  The bet is over 2 minutes and under 2 minutes.  And you can also 

bet on what color hair will the singer will come out with.  The choices are blonde, pink, blue, brown, and green.  The odds onto pink hair are 2 to 1.

Black has 7 to 1 odds.  During her concerts, Pink likes to be airborne and with that the bet is whether she will be airborne during the singing of the National Anthem?  No carries 1 to 5 odds while yes carries 3 to 1.  My gut tells me she will be standing for the anthem.

Patriots coach Bill Belichick seems to enjoy wearing a hoodie on the sidelines.  The question is what color will it be at kickoff?  The options are blue, gray, red, or white.  The favorite is blue coming in 2 to 3.  The book is giving Red and white 10 to 1 while gray is 13 to 10.  I think he may wear a darker color, but he enjoys wearing gray.

One of my favorite bets is on the color Gatorade will be when it is poured on the winning coach.  Yellow is the favorite at 9 to 4.  Red, blue, clear/water all stand at 4 to 1.  Purple has the lowest odds is a long shot at 10 to 1.  Personally, I’m guessing it’s going to be yellow or clear/water.

A bet can be placed on whether a team scores during the final two minutes of the first half.  Yes is 1 to 3; No is 12 to 5.

Bets can also be placed on whether the team with possession in the final two minutes will start a drive but if they aren’t going anywhere, whether they will take a knee.  I could see points coming from a field goal.

Those are just a few of the money prop bets for this weekend’s Super Bowl.  Money can be made (and lost).  Hopefully the Super Bowl in general is a decent game.
